Eugene Mirman has been many things, but he wasn't a good high school student. His teachers constantly told him he wasn't living up to his potential, and his 2.1 GPA was hard to argue with. Eugene has come a long way since then, and his new method of schooling will allow the audience to learn along with him. The Continuing Education of Eugene Mirman features MIT neuroscientist Rebecca Saxe, who will teach Eugene about her research with the help of science journalist Anna Rothschild, who will ask informed questions and keep Eugene on-task. Kind of like a Montessori school but with fewer shadow puppets, Eugene's new and innovative approach to learning will make science accessible and entertaining.

EUGENE MIRMAN is a comedian and actor. He voices Gene on Foxs Emmy Award winning animated series Bobs Burgers and hosts the Audible podcast, Hold On. He appeared regularly on Flight of the Conchords, Adult Swims Delocated, and Archer, and has two standup comedy specials on Comedy Central. His latest comedy special is available on Netflix. Eugene is also a frequent co-host of Neil deGrasse Tysons science/ comedy show, StarTalk.
REBECCA SAXE is a cognitive neuroscientist, and a professor at MIT. Her research addresses the human brains astonishing capacity for complex abstract thought. She is especially known for her work on Theory of Mind, peoples ability to think about the thoughts, beliefs, plans, hopes and emotions of other people. Professor Saxe has authored more than 100 articles, and is proud to have mentored more than a dozen talented graduate students and post-doctoral researchers. Her 2009 TED talk has been watched 2.9 million times.
ANNA ROTHSCHILD, award-winning science journalist and multimedia producer, is a Washington Post science reporter and host of Annas Science Magic Show Hooray (coming soon from The Washington Post). She created and hosted the popular YouTube series Gross Science for NOVA and PBS Digital Studios.
